Please note that this work of art is made by an Australian craftsman who has been working with ox horn for over 35 years. This ancient material has been used by humans for a long time, and the process hasn't changed much. Each model is therefore handmade and takes time.
Ox Horn Pint 🐮
The craftsman cuts the horn to a sufficient diameter and then glues a wooden base with food-grade resin. This ensures a completely waterproof seal while using natural materials.
He then engraves the grooves on the horn to give it this majestic appearance.

Each horn is unique and the craftsman tries to magnify it as best he can each time.
It has to do with the size, shape and color of your future horn. Animals are not all identical, so neither are their horns. This is also part of the charm of not having a standardized product . Please take this into account and understand that your horn will therefore not be strictly identical to our photos. 😊
Know that each horn is tested before shipping to verify that it is perfectly waterproof. 😉
Good to know before first use and for maintenance:
1: This drinking horn is not designed for scalding or very hot liquids that could damage its varnish coating. Avoid pouring coffee or tea into it.
2: Our horn is made from ox horn and will naturally have a horny taste. You should clean it thoroughly with dish soap before use. If the taste persists, a day filled with water will be enough to permanently remove the taste.
3: After each use, you will need to clean it with a sponge, let it dry and then store it in a dry place.
